Writer’s Spot

The Berkshires have long been a place for artists to retreat to and unwind.

From the beautifully rolling hills, to the plethora of wildlife it is perfect for any creative mind. It is something of a breeding ground for the wonderfully imaginative.

Many writers have and do call it their home. From Edith Wharton to Herman Melville, this area has a grand history of writers.

The Berkshire Beat is dedicated to displaying works of writing from writers of all backgrounds, not just the Wharton’s or Melville’s of the area.
